Autism, or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), refers to a broad range of conditions characterized by delays in social skills and communication accompanied by behavioral rigidity and sensory sensitivities.

Psychological evaluations are conducted to assess the causes of psychological and behavioral distress. Psychological evaluations can be based on referrals from physicians or treating clinicians. They can also be based on referrals from potential employers or current employers (i.e. Pre-Employment Psychological Evaluations, Fitness for Duty Evaluations). Psychological evaluations can be conducted with individuals of all ages.

This evaluation is conducted with the patient’s prescribing physician.
