Clinical Director of Lakeview Clinic
Katie Barlow Morris, BCBA
Katie is a BCBA originally from Natchez, Mississippi. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Millsaps College and her Master's degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University.
Katie was first introduced to ABA during an internship at an early intervention clinic while in college. It was there that she discovered her passion for helping children develop meaningful skills through evidence-based intervention. Since becoming a BCBA in 2012, Katie has had the privilege of supporting children and families across clinic, home, and school settings in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana; and the Washington, DC/Maryland area. She has worked with children ages 2 to 13 and has also served in leadership roles, where she enjoys mentoring clinicians and fostering high-quality, compassionate care.
Katie is passionate about helping each child build independence and reach their fullest potential by focusing on socially significant goals that enhance everyday life. She believes the best outcomes are achieved through individualized, evidence-based therapy and strong partnerships with families, educators, and other providers. Her approach is rooted in collaboration, compassion, and empowering each child with the skills they need to thrive. Katie believes that the most meaningful progress happens when therapy is individualized, collaborative, and centered on what matters most to each child and family.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys exploring New Orleans festivals, traveling (especially anywhere she can find a great hiking trail), and cooking favorite dishes in the kitchen with her family.
